Steven Cento

Steven CentoSteven Cento is currently a Consulting Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation – Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) Sector in Bethpage NY.  Steven has 40 years of experience working in the NGAS Sector designing and developing complex systems and S/W tools and applications involving Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), remote sensing, and multi-source/multi-sensor information extraction, registration, deconfliction, and integration.

Steven was formerly NGAS Sector Engineering Fellow and Sector Technology Area Lead (TAL) for Information Processing & Exploitation from 2005-2014 and managed the GEOINT R&D Group from 1991-2014.  Steven was instrumental on multiple Science & Technology (S&T) seedlings and large aerospace systems shaping, capture and execution efforts. 

Prior to his 40 years in the Defense Industry at NGAS, Steven spent over seven years working on multivariate data analytics & visualization algorithms and applications within the Biostatistics Laboratory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Research Institute, and in the Biomedical Engineering industry designing and developing signal analysis and pattern recognition tools for ambulatory EKG monitoring systems.
