VISION

The SUNY Stony Brook Office of  Military and Veteran Students committed to providing support services focused on the holistic development of our students – intellectual, personal, and social needs. We work to achieve these goals through the development and implementation of programs, outreach efforts, policy advocacy and community partnerships designed to provide student support services focused on the special needs and requirements of veterans, service members and their dependents.

The SUNY Stony Brook Office of Military and Veteran Students goal is to strive to become one of the nation’s top military friendly schools by offering student military veteran population a wide range of support services, educating faculty and staff of their needs, and developing community support through many facets:
