LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to analyze and synthesize
data, conduct independent research, and produce a critical research paper.
2. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to demonstrate their ability
to think critically about social, political, and economic issues pertinent to Africa
and the African diaspora.
3. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to use an interdisciplinary
approach to challenge normative conceptual and epistemological assumptions antithetical
to an Africana intellectual tradition.
