Dishin' With Democracy Podcasts
Dishin' With Democracy, a podcast focused on discussing civic topics! This Legacy Project created by members of the Center for Civic Justice from Stony Brook University to engage the campus community through group interviews with guests on topics such as voter education, fiscal responsibility, money in politics, and so much more. Husbaan's project group worked hard to put this show together! Special episodes were hosted to celebrate our Community Partners such as Up to Us and Democracy Matters.
Up to Us Campus Competition
The Up to Us campus competition was launched by the non-profit organization Net Impact to empower colleges and universities across the country to develop and engage in impactful, creative campaigns that highlight the importance of addressing the national debt and other fiscal issues for America's future generations. Stony Brook student have taken top placement, nationally, on several occassions, earning recognition for both the institution and the individual students involved.
