ABSTRACT
Advancement and Impact in the Man-Machine Interface in Supply Chain Operations.
How workers across the supply chain are being outfitted and enabled by technology - voice-directed systems, wearable computers, augmented reality headsets, robotics, etc. to manufacture, distribute, and merchandise products. How those technologies are now, and will soon be, integrated together to overcome a wide set of operational challenges. How those technologies will first enable human workers, and then ultimately replace such workers - and some sobering thoughts on the societal impact of that transition.
