Atefeh comes from a multidisciplinary background in law, diversity and inclusion, and student engagement. She earned her Master’s degree in Diversity and Inclusion from Rowan University in 2024, where she designed and facilitated identity-based workshops and supported a range of student engagement initiatives centered on equity and belonging.

Before transitioning into higher education, Atefeh earned her Master’s degree in Law in 2020 while practicing law for over five years, where she advocated for marginalized communities. She later brought her expertise to academia, contributing to international admissions and leading DEI programming initiatives that supported diverse student populations.

Atefeh has a passion for justice and inclusion, with a unique blend of legal expertise and academic experience that makes her a strong fit for coordinating the BIAS NRT program. Her work across legal advocacy, higher education, and DEI programming reflects her commitment to building interdisciplinary, equity-driven spaces where diverse voices and perspectives are centered.
