Crisis Support Drop-In Group through CAPS

Iranian Student Support Group

Group Details

The virtual crisis support drop-in group, led by a Farsi‑speaking therapist, is designed to support Iranian international students who are navigating the ongoing turmoil in their home country. The group is open to all Iranian international students seeking connection, understanding, and a space to process their experiences. Support groups will meet weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6–7 p.m. The support group will meet throughout the semester, accommodating up to 12 students each session.

How To Register

Students can register using the link below. This will bring them to a Qualtrics form where they can register for sessions taking place over the next three weeks.  Once a session has met registration capacity, students will no longer be able to see those particular options, and the upcoming 3-week session dates will be made available. Each session can have a maximum of 12 students registered.

Once you register, you will receive a unique Zoom link for that particular date and time. Please do not share the Zoom link; interested students must register using the form. We kindly ask you to attend the session you register for so that other students can also access this support opportunity.

By registering for this drop-in support group session, you acknowledge that this is a supportive, discussion‑based space rather than individual therapy. You agree to participate respectfully in the group process and to uphold the confidentiality of other students to the extent possible in a virtual setting. If you feel you need individual counseling or additional support, please contact CAPS or your preferred provider.
