Performer Bio
Pete Caldera
Pete Caldera is a singer of timeless American standards and a veteran sports journalist whose
talents span two great stages — the nightclub and the ballpark. A beloved performer
at Manhattan venues including The Carnegie Club, Winnie’s Jazz Bar, and 54 Below,
Pete captivates audiences with his velvety voice, smooth phrasing, and natural charm.
His performances celebrate the Great American Songbook, bringing to life the music
of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and other classic interpreters of swing
and romance.
At The Carnegie Club, Pete shines as the primary substitute for the legendary “Sinatra Saturday” show, backed by the acclaimed 11-piece Stan Rubin Orchestra. Together, they recreate the magic of mid-century New York, transporting listeners to an era when melody, rhythm, and style ruled the stage. His dedication to honoring the classics and his heartfelt connection with audiences have made him a mainstay of New York’s live music scene.
Away from the microphone, Pete is a veteran baseball writer for The Bergen Record and the USA Today Network, covering the New York Yankees. His storytelling, whether in print or in song, reflects the same sense of rhythm, history, and emotional truth that defines his performances.
Whether crooning a ballad or chronicling a ballgame, Pete Caldera brings passion, polish, and an unmistakable sense of swing to everything he does.
