MTRC Consulting Services

 Biotechnology

The Manufacturing and Technology Resource Center (MTRC) also provides Biotechnology Services to small and medium sized manufacturing companies, and brings many years of knowledge, experience, process development, and project management to our clients. These services include: 

  • Product Development and Manufacturing Support 
  • Market/Competitive Research and Analysis  
  • Literature Search Research and Analysis 
  • Business Development & Strategy Support 
  • Program/Vendor/Service Provider Support 
  • Technology development and commercialization, including Antibody and Antigen production, Molecular Diagnostics and Immunological Assay development
  • Personalized Medicine approaches through genomics and proteomics for small molecule and recombinant (antibody and protein) drugs
  • Pre-clinical and Clinical guidance and collaborations for drug and assay development 

Innovation is key to the commercial success for small and medium sized companies. We work with companies to identify tools and services needed to execute their dynamic goals and focus on strategies to compress timelines of most complex projects. MTRC also maintains a Smart Manufacturing User Facility to support 3D-printing capabilities for the development of Medical Devices. Food Consulting

MTRC has partnered with the Long Island Food Council (LIFC) to bring expert consulting to small-to-medium sized food manufacturers. Qualifying food manufacturers can apply for consulting services in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Digital marketing for the food industry

Application process:

1) Please fill out the following Assessment Form. 

2) LIFC (Info@longislandfoodcouncil.com) and MTRC will review the form and connect with you to start working together. Once approved,  LIFC will match you with appropriate consultant. The consultant will reach out to you for an initial consultation to discuss your company's need and potentially develop a project. 

4) When a project is developed and a scope of work is identified, both a company representative and the consultant must sign a Consulting Proposal Form (available upon request of the consultant) and LIFC will submit it to MTRC for the next steps. *Note - Any deliverables/project work done that results in a cost greater than the granted award amount by MTRC will be the responsibility of the Company.
