Tamim Masab
Tamim Masab serves as the Intellectual Property Docket Manager at Stony Brook University’s Intellectual Property Partners (IPP), where he manages the university’s global patent docket and supports the protection of SBU’s innovations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting from CUNY Queens College.
While his academic background was rooted in economics, Tamim transitioned into intellectual property, applying his skills in organization, analysis, and management to oversee multi-million-dollar international portfolios and partner with Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, aerospace, and automotive industries. He is passionate about bringing clarity and efficiency to complex workflows and enjoys working with colleagues, inventors, and partners to ensure Stony Brook’s technologies are well-positioned for protection and long-term impact.
