Assistant Professor - Diagnostic Radiologist

Required Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Required Qualifications:  MD (or equivalent), NYS license, board eligible/certification training in Nuclear Medicine.

Neuro Radiology Required Qualifications:  MD (or equivalent), NYS license, board eligible/certification in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuro Radiology /Diagnostic / MR / CT Training.

Body / Cross Sectional Imaging Required Qualifications:  MD (or equivalent), NYS license, board eligible/certification in Diagnostic Radiology, Plain film / Body / Cross Sectional / Diagnostic / MR / CT Training.

Cardiothoracic Imaging Required Qualifications: MD (or equivalent), NYS license, board eligible/certification in Diagnostic Radiology, Plain film / Thoracic Imaging / Diagnostic / MR / CT Training.

Preferred Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Preferred Qualifications:  Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine / PET / PET CT Five (5) years of experience, teaching, publications, strong interpersonal/communication skills, research, productivity.

Neuro Radiology Preferred Qualifications:  Fellowship training in Neuro Radiology, Five (5) years of experience, teaching, publications, strong interpersonal/communication skills, research, productivity.

Body / Cross Sectional Imaging Preferred Qualifications:  Fellowship training in Body / Cross Sectional Imaging; Five (5) years of experience, teaching, publications, strong interpersonal/communication skills, research, productivity.

Cardiothoracic Imaging Preferred Qualifications:  Fellowship training in Thoracic Imaging / Body Imaging; up to Five (5) years of experience, teaching, publications, strong interpersonal/communication skills, research, productivity.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Nuclear Medicine Responsibilities & Requirements:  Clinical Radiologist proficient in Nuclear Medicine, PET / PET CT

Neuro Radiology Responsibilities & Requirements:  Clinical Radiologist proficient in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuro Radiology.

Body / Cross Sectional Imaging Responsibilities & Requirements:  Clinical Radiologist proficient in Diagnostic Radiology, Cross Sectional / Body Imaging; CT, MR, US, Plain Film

Cardiothoracic Imaging Responsibilities & Requirements:  Clinical Radiologist proficient in Thoracic / Body Imaging, CT, MR, US.  The successful candidate will provide a full range of Diagnostic / Thoracic Imaging services to Stony Brook University Hospital, Department of Radiology facilities and associated facilities, including: Diagnostic Radiology, Body Imaging, CT and Ultrasound.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.  Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
