Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor

Required Qualifications

MD or equivalent.  Completion of an approved residency program in Physiatry or Anesthesiology.  Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine.  Board eligible and/or certified in Physiatry or Anesthesiology.  Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physician in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience in outpatient chronic pain management center.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The candidate will be responsible for providing pain management services in an outpatient setting to patients who suffer from chronically debilitating pain.  Will be actively engaged in the instruction and/or supervision of resident physicians and medical students.  An active role in clinical and/or basic research will be strongly encouraged.

Special Notes

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.  Eligibility for tenure will be based upon applicants' qualifications and experience.  To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).  Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2019.
