Andrew Wooten is the Executive Director for the Long Isnald High Tech Incubator (LIHTI). Andrew's prior role was the Founder and Managing Director of the City Innovations Collaborative at the City College of New York, where he acquired grant awards and commercial commitments of over $35 million to build a new life science incubator and associated programs.

In previous roles at three top research institutions, Andrew executed the largest commercial transactions to date at each institution during his tenure. First, at Cincinnati Children's, he managed commercialization and created Cincinnati Children's Innovation Ventures with new capabilities, including a product/venture accelerator and an institutional venture fund, and grew commercialization revenue by 660%. Next, at Baylor College of Medicine, Andrew acquired federal funding to build and staff the Innovation Development Center to accelerate biomedical innovations and ventures, and increased commercialization revenue by 380%. Finally, at Arizona State, Andrew operated the Health Science Ventures  business unit and raised commercialization revenue by 300%.

Earlier in his career, Andrew served as the Director of Corporate Development for AviGenic/Synageva Biopharma, which was later acquired by Alexion Pharmaceuticals for $8.4 billion.
