About Jessica
Jessica Roman joined the Career Center in August 2022 as the Sr. Career Coach for Graduate Students and Career Coach for the Applied Sciences and Research Career Community. Jessica’s goal when coaching students is to understand each student's individual goals in order to provide them with the resources and skills they need to succeed in their career journey.
Jessica earned her Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in
Mathematics from St. John’s University and her Masters of Arts in Postsecondary Educational
Leadership with a Specialization in Student Affairs from San Diego State University.
Jessica has been working in the field of Student Affairs for 8 years, her previous
experiences have been in Residential Education. The skills she acquired through her
previous experiences have helped her transition into her new role.
