OPLITE Launch

Electronic Mentoring:

OPLITE is pleased to offer an Electronic Mentoring Program to Long Island High School students. The following local technology executives have volunteered to mentor Long Island high school students who are considering a career in, or have questions about the technology field. With technology evolving so rapidly, we know students will have questions, some of which can only be answered by technical people, already in the field.

Please read the bios of the mentors to help you select the person with the most experience in the area to which your question pertains.

Steve Horowitz
Scott Passeser

Dr. Rong Zhao

More Volunteers Needed:
If you are currently a member of the technology or engineering community, or an OPLITE volunteer, and would like to mentor Long Island students via email, please email scott.passeser@stonybrook.edu. Thanks!
