About the Event

The CEWIT 2009 Conference, is a one day event organized by the Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT), at Stony Brook University. The conference is the 6th in its technical series and provides a platform for leading academic and business institutions to explore collaboratively new technologies and their business potential. Over 500 participants from industry, academia and government including the international community are expected to attend.

The program includes four parallel tracks including emerging technologies, healthcare and medical devices, smart infrastructure and other industry solutions including show casing of IT solutions from participating companies. Just Added- Special Entrepreneur Workshop for Start-up Businesses- Panelists from Empire State Development, Suffolk County Office of Economic Development, NYSTAR, Long Island Development Corporation and Stony Brook University will describe how to best utilize resources available to Technology Start-ups.
